The Houstonian Club embarked on a $70 million renovation plan that took place in three phases just in time for the club’s 40th anniversary. Guests can unwind and on a 27-acre oasis, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling wooded views in its 280 newly renovated guest rooms and suites. The 185,000 SF Houstonian Club provides a wide range of amenities including group exercise classes, aquatic programs, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, various pools including a resort pool with a rockslide, a 25-meter sports lap pool, and a quiet garden pool. Guests can also enjoy luxurious locker rooms, a fully equipped fitness floor with over 300 pieces of equipment, indoor turfed fitness zone, enhanced group exercise studios, cycle studio, private yoga studio with aerial silks, and an indoor basketball court. The new Trellis Spa at The Houstonian is the largest luxury spa in Texas, spanning 26,500 SF. Inside, guests will find nature-inspired hues, a grand reception area, renovated treatment rooms, sauna and wet areas, a treetop dining room, an indoor Reflection Pool, and serene lounging spaces.
