The new Fort Bend County Caleb Rule Public Safety Annex, named after fallen officer Caleb Rule, is located near the intersection of Flewellen Way and FM 1093. The facility was constructed on a 2.84 acre greenfield site that provides concrete parking areas, a helipad, fuel station, and common landscaping elements. The single level, 16,800 SF facility primarily serves as a patrol station for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
Interior spaces include office spaces, conference rooms, locker rooms with showers, briefing room, and a small holding area. The site also has a helicopter landing pad. Lighting and controls are designed to meet the energy code complying with occupancy/vacancy sensors and daylight sensing where required. The HVAC is split-DX VAV system with SFP terminal boxes for zoning
