The Woodlands First Baptist Church

The renovation and expansion of the The Woodlands First Baptist Church included a complete renovation of the church’s existing sanctuary, educational buildings, multi-purpose spaces, and the addition of a new Great Hall and 4-level open parking garage with a capacity for 450 cars.

Features of the renovation include doubling the seating capacity in the existing sanctuary to accommodate 1,200 people and converting an existing unused gym building into 23,000 SF of classroom space. Features of the expansion include the addition of a new 10,000 SF centralized Great Hall to serve as a nucleus for social activities as well as a venue to hold large meetings, wedding receptions, and conference events. The Great Hall features a Texas Hill country-style design with an oversized fireplace, soft seating, Texas limestone, and wood interiors. It also serves as a connection between the sanctuary, multi-purpose rooms, and the new 4-level 450 car parking structure.
