As Construction Administrator at Collaborative Engineering Group, Felix Cruz brings more than 26 years of construction experience. Before joining the design side of the industry, Felix spent the majority of his career in construction, where he worked as a Master Plumber and developed extensive hands-on knowledge of building systems.

Felix has worked on healthcare, K-12, higher education, airport, commercial, and municipal projects. His field experience provides valuable insight during construction administration, allowing him to identify potential issues early, work collaboratively with project teams, and help ensure building systems are installed and perform as intended.

Throughout his career, Felix has earned numerous professional certifications and completed extensive training in plumbing, medical gas systems, HVAC, water supply protection, and construction safety, providing him with a strong technical foundation in MEP construction and commissioning.

Outside of work, Felix enjoys coaching youth soccer, fishing along the Texas coast, and traveling with his family. He and his wife are proud parents of three children, and he enjoys mentoring young athletes by teaching the same values of teamwork, accountability, and preparation that guide his work every day.
