Walker Engineering Corporate Headquarters
Walker Engineering’s Corporate Headquarters is a 30,000 SF facility in northwest Houston, featuring office space, warehouse storage, and modern infrastructure like driveways, parking lots, and an entry court. The design incorporates sculpted electrical conduit in public areas, reflecting the company’s brand. Completed in 2015, it is a functional and brand-integrated space for the electrical engineering and construction company.

Houston Zoo
The Houston Zoo’s 100th-anniversary transformation is its most ambitious redevelopment yet, creating experiential zones that highlight global ecosystems and deepen conservation efforts. Completed projects include Texas Wetlands, Pantanal, and the groundbreaking Galápagos Islands exhibit, alongside Cypress Circle Café, Birds of the World, and a new parking garage and admin office. Additional upgrades include campus-wide electrical enhancements, exhibit renovations, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring the zoo remains a world-class destination for wildlife conservation and education.

Diamond Head Theatre
The 17,000 SF Diamond Head Theatre renovation introduced 482 seats, advanced sound and lighting, a new orchestra pit, and expanded amenities. A redesigned roof structure enhances safety and accessibility for performers and staff, transforming the venue into a state-of-the-art performance space.

Fort Bend County Caleb Rule Public Safety Annex
The Fort Bend County Caleb Rule Public Safety Annex is a 16,800 SF patrol station serving the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Situated on a 2.84-acre greenfield site, it features concrete parking, a helipad, and a fuel station. Interior spaces include offices, conference rooms, a briefing room, locker rooms with showers, and a small holding area. Designed for efficiency, the facility incorporates occupancy-based lighting controls and an HVAC split-DX VAV system for optimized zoning.

Texas Children’s Hospital Feigin Center Level 12 Immunology Lab
The Texas Children's Hospital Feigin Center Level 12 Immunology Lab is a 2,611 SF state-of-the-art research facility designed to accommodate 15-20 lab personnel. The space includes a sorting room, cell culture area, liquid nitrogen storage, dedicated freezer/fridge storage, and shared office/workstations. CEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design to support this advanced laboratory environment.

The new John Cooper School Athletic Addition in The Woodlands spans 25,000 SF across three stories. Features include a 3,000 SF locker room, fitness rooms, coaches' offices, and a cheerleading area, as well as spaces for community events.

Science & Technology Building Lamar University
The Science & Technology Building at Lamar University is an 83,000 SF facility featuring instructional labs, research spaces, and a state-of-the-art maker space for biology, chemistry, engineering, and interdisciplinary innovation. The project also included a Central Plant expansion with a new 800-ton chiller and electrical switchgear to support the university’s growing infrastructure.

As part of the Houston Zoo’s 20-year master plan, Cypress Circle Café was reimagined into a Green Restaurant Certified dining destination. The 10,000 SF café features locally sourced, sustainable fare in an inviting indoor and outdoor setting.

New Hope Housing – Perry Street SRO
New Hope Housing - Perry Street SRO provides 160 fully-furnished efficiency apartments for individuals with limited incomes, offering permanent, affordable housing with support services. The facility includes communal amenities such as a TV lounge, life skills training center, and a fully-equipped kitchen available 24/7. Achieving LEED Platinum Certification, this project is conveniently located near downtown and METRO bus lines.

Houston Country Club
The Houston Country Club underwent a major $84 million renovation, enhancing 135,000 SF of facilities while maintaining full club operations. The project introduced new locker rooms, banquet halls, and expanded kitchen capacity, along with state-of-the-art fitness, pool, and tennis facilities. A complete MEP systems overhaul included a new central plant, emergency generator, and upgraded water and air distribution systems.

The Rothko Chapel, a revered Houston landmark, underwent a renovation and expansion to enhance its lighting, climate control, and entry vestibule, aligning with Mark Rothko’s original artistic vision. Additionally, a 15,000 SF expansion introduced new office, archival, and support spaces, ensuring the chapel’s long-term preservation and operational efficiency.

Lott Hall at Hermann Park
Lott Hall, a historic 8,742 SF venue, now offers luxurious event spaces for up to 250 guests. Renovated by CEG, the venue features catering prep areas, bridal and vendor spaces, and a grand porte-cochère. Upgrades include modern MEP systems, energy-efficient lighting, and a VRF HVAC system, ensuring comfort and sustainability.
