The Quad at the University of Houston is a state-of-the-art 385,000 SF residence hall, providing modern student accommodations while honoring the legacy of the original Quadrangle residential area from 1950. The 1,189-student housing facility features super-suite style units, each consisting of four bedrooms, a spacious living area, shared bathrooms, and a kitchenette.
In addition to traditional student housing, the Quad includes townhouse-style residences designed to attract international students, providing 124 beds across conjoined three-story walk-up units. Each townhouse accommodates 18 students and includes private bedrooms, shared and individual bathrooms, large communal living areas, and full kitchens.
Student amenities include free laundry services, high-speed Wi-Fi, fitness rooms, study spaces, and community lounges. The residence hall also features five outdoor courtyards, fostering a vibrant and engaging living environment.
Designed by EYP, Inc., The Quad was completed in 2020 with a project budget of $124 million, further enhancing on-campus student life at the University of Houston.
