St. Benedict the Abbot

For nearly 40 years, the parishioners of St. Benedict the Abbot worshiped in their parish hall. To accommodate a growing congregation, the church expanded with a new 10,000 SF worship space featuring 600 seats. This purpose-built facility provides a more spiritual and functional environment for services, enhancing the worship experience for the community.
Key additions include a dedicated day chapel for daily mass and a large narthex, fostering fellowship and gathering opportunities between services. Designed by Studio Red Architects and completed in 2012, the expansion marks a significant milestone in the church’s history, ensuring its facilities meet the needs of its parishioners for years to come.
The Woodlands First Baptist Church
The Woodlands First Baptist Church underwent a major renovation and expansion, including a sanctuary upgrade, 23,000 SF of new classroom space, a 10,000 SF Great Hall, and a 450-car, 4-level parking garage. The sanctuary’s seating capacity doubled to 1,200, while the Great Hall was designed as a central hub for social events, conferences, and gatherings, featuring Texas Hill Country-style architecture. Completed in 2015 by Studio Red Architects, this $12.2 million project enhances the church’s ability to serve its growing congregation.

Located at East Aldine Town Center Park, it features six lease spaces and is surrounded by an amphitheater, playground, splash pad, and scenic water features. Lush landscaping and pedestrian-friendly design enhance accessibility and community engagement.

Lott Hall at Hermann Park
Lott Hall, a historic 8,742 SF venue, now offers luxurious event spaces for up to 250 guests. Renovated by CEG, the venue features catering prep areas, bridal and vendor spaces, and a grand porte-cochère. Upgrades include modern MEP systems, energy-efficient lighting, and a VRF HVAC system, ensuring comfort and sustainability.

The Mehta Foundation Headquarters is a 15,000 SF office building featuring a central gathering space with high ceilings and clerestory windows. Its semi-circular conference room is a key architectural highlight. The Alief Neighborhood Center is a 71,551 SF LEED-certified facility in Alief Park, housing Health and Human Services, Parks and Recreation, and the Hennington-Alief Regional Library.
