Parking Garage #6 -
Parking Garage #6 at the University of Houston is a state-of-the-art, multi-level parking facility designed to accommodate 2,500 vehicles and enhance parking efficiency on campus. Strategically located at Entrance 1 on University Drive in the Professional District, the project also included traffic flow improvements and a pedestrian safety study, resulting in a redesigned crosswalk and vehicle entrances for Lots 20A and 20C.
Key sustainability and technology features include:
- Parksmart occupancy sensors for real-time space availability.
- Energy-efficient lighting controls to reduce power consumption.
- Electric vehicle charging stations to support sustainable transportation.
Designed by EYP, Inc. and completed in November 2020, this $47 million facility contributes to the university’s commitment to efficient and sustainable campus infrastructure.
The Woodlands First Baptist Church
The Woodlands First Baptist Church underwent a major renovation and expansion, including a sanctuary upgrade, 23,000 SF of new classroom space, a 10,000 SF Great Hall, and a 450-car, 4-level parking garage. The sanctuary’s seating capacity doubled to 1,200, while the Great Hall was designed as a central hub for social events, conferences, and gatherings, featuring Texas Hill Country-style architecture. Completed in 2015 by Studio Red Architects, this $12.2 million project enhances the church’s ability to serve its growing congregation.

The East Aldine District’s new 23,300 SF office building serves as a hub for community operations and law enforcement. Located at East Aldine Town Center Park, it features six lease spaces and is surrounded by an amphitheater, playground, splash pad, and scenic water features. Lush landscaping and pedestrian-friendly design enhance accessibility and community engagement.

Lott Hall at Hermann Park
Lott Hall, a historic 8,742 SF venue, now offers luxurious event spaces for up to 250 guests. Renovated by CEG, the venue features catering prep areas, bridal and vendor spaces, and a grand porte-cochère. Upgrades include modern MEP systems, energy-efficient lighting, and a VRF HVAC system, ensuring comfort and sustainability.

The Mehta Foundation Headquarters is a 15,000 SF office building featuring a central gathering space with high ceilings and clerestory windows. Its semi-circular conference room is a key architectural highlight. Completed in 2015, it is a functional and brand-integrated space for the electrical engineering and construction company.

Alief Neighborhood Center
The Alief Neighborhood Center is a 71,551 SF LEED-certified facility in Alief Park, housing Health and Human Services, Parks and Recreation, and the Hennington-Alief Regional Library. The $52 million center includes a WIC office, multipurpose rooms, fitness areas, sports fields, an art garden, and an outdoor pool, making it Houston’s first multi-service facility of its kind.
