The Westin Houston Medical Center is a transformation of the historic Medical Towers in the Texas Medical Center, marking a significant milestone in the rejuvenation of one of Houston’s earliest modern glass-and-steel buildings. The 382,000 SF redevelopment spans 18 floors, providing 273 mid-century inspired rooms that combine historical charm with contemporary luxury.
The project includes a host of amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. These include a state-of-the-art, 24-hour fitness room, a run program, and en-suite soaking tubs for ultimate relaxation. The Terrace 54 restaurant and bar, located on the west terrace, offers breathtaking views of the Galleria and serves as a vibrant gathering space. Guests can unwind in the resort-style pool, complete with cabanas, water chaises, and bar service, all while enjoying sweeping views of downtown Houston.
Designed by BRR Architecture, the renovation of the Westin Houston Medical Center combines modern amenities with a nod to the past, making it a luxurious destination in the heart of Houston’s thriving medical district.
