But actually, the owner is also a part of the collaboration. Belmont Village has been building and operating senior housing for over 17 years and we have developed some preferences that work well for us and our residents. Originally built in 1915, this historic building was revitalized into the popular craft beer bar, Mongoose Versus Cobra, after decades of disrepair. The dramatic restoration preserved its historic charm, earning the 2013 Good Brick Award for excellence in historic preservation.

The St. Agnes Academy Student Life Center features 50,000 SF of new construction, including a multi-use performing arts center, dedicated dance hall, and classrooms for the expanding communications program. The transformation of the 1962 auditorium creates a bright, lively student space while the upgraded cooling and infrastructure systems support future growth.

Lone Star College Process Technology Center – Kingwood Campus
The Lone Star College Process Technology Center is a 40,200 SF training facility designed to prepare students for careers in process technology and operations. Located on an 8.3-acre site in Generation Park, the center includes a full outdoor Process Training Unit, control room, state-of-the-art simulation equipment, and specialized labs for chemistry, physics, and water sampling.

Texas Children’s Hospital Feigin Center Level 12 Immunology Lab
The Texas Children's Hospital Feigin Center Level 12 Immunology Lab is a 2,611 SF state-of-the-art research facility designed to accommodate 15-20 lab personnel. The space includes a sorting room, cell culture area, liquid nitrogen storage, dedicated freezer/fridge storage, and shared office/workstations. CEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design to support this advanced laboratory environment.

Griffith Fine Arts Building – Stephen F. Austin State University
The Griffith Fine Arts Building at SFA has expanded to 137,374 SF, featuring a renovated Turner Auditorium, a 350-seat flexible theatre, and a black box theatre. The addition also houses filmmaking and dance programs, complete with studios, editing rooms, rehearsal spaces, and faculty offices, making it a cutting-edge arts facility.

William T. Cannady Hall – Rice University
William T. Cannady Hall at Rice University is a 22,000 SF expansion for the Rice School of Architecture, featuring a two-story public gallery, adaptable teaching spaces, and a state-of-the-art digital fabrication shop. Named after William T. Cannady, a distinguished architect, the facility promotes interactive learning and hands-on design. Set for completion in August 2024, with a budget of $14 million, the building enhances the architectural program by offering cutting-edge spaces for exhibitions, workshops, and student projects.

The 34,000 SF River Pointe Church Children's Ministry Building is a two-story facility designed for learning, comfort, and fun. It features nursing rooms, a large outdoor balcony for open-air classes, family restrooms, and specialized rooms tailored to different age groups. Completed in 2018 with a budget of $8.4 million, the space fosters a welcoming environment for young learners.

Chinese Community Center
The Chinese Community Center expansion includes a 22,000 SF Senior Building, site upgrades, and a youth activity space. The facility houses adult day care services, a commercial kitchen, meeting rooms, and a performance space, with outdoor areas for seniors and children.

The Houston Zoo’s 100th-anniversary transformation is its most ambitious redevelopment yet, creating experiential zones that highlight global ecosystems and deepen conservation efforts. Completed projects include Texas Wetlands, Pantanal, and the groundbreaking Galápagos Islands exhibit, alongside Cypress Circle Café, Birds of the World, and a new parking garage and admin office. Additional upgrades include campus-wide electrical enhancements, exhibit renovations, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring the zoo remains a world-class destination for wildlife conservation and education.
