The MetroNational Treehouse is a 15,000 SF commercial office building designed as a hub for creativity, collaboration, and networking among employees, potential tenants, and investors. Reflecting the owner's forward-thinking ideology, the first floor is available for restaurant lease space, while the second floor serves as a collaborative workspace, conference area, and entertainment venue.
Recognized as one of Houston’s greenest commercial buildings, the Treehouse has earned double LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)—the highest-ranking LEED building in Texas and No. 2 in the nation.
The building integrates cutting-edge sustainability features, including a vegetated roof, geothermal cooling and heating, solar photovoltaic panels, and a wind turbine for renewable energy. These systems reduce energy costs by nearly 50%, while water-efficient features lower irrigation needs by 70%. The Machiche wood façade was sustainably harvested from South America, and the interior features reclaimed flooring from the Old Cotton Concentration Company warehouses in Galveston. Flexible office spaces ensure adaptability for ongoing and future developments.
