Project Budget$84,000,000
The Houston Country Club’s extensive $84 million renovation transformed its 135,000 SF campus while ensuring uninterrupted operations for members. The project included additions to the main clubhouse, featuring new locker rooms and banquet hall spaces, as well as a full interior reconfiguration to double the kitchen capacity and enhance back-of-house functionality. Member-facing areas were refreshed to provide a modernized yet elegant atmosphere.
Beyond the clubhouse, several outdated structures supporting fitness, pool, and tennis amenities were demolished and replaced with state-of-the-art facilities. A complete overhaul of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems introduced a new central plant, upgraded electrical service with an emergency generator, new domestic water distribution, and all-new air handling units.
Phased construction allowed the club to remain fully operational throughout the project, ensuring that members continued to enjoy premier services while the transformation took place. The result is a sophisticated, future-ready country club that blends modern functionality with timeless luxury.
